Music at Midweek: Magnetic Fields

I was reminded of this song last weekend while hanging out with some long-lost friends. It was the first Magnetic Fields song I played for them back in the sunny summer of 2004... and it kicked off a decade of the Magnetic Fields - and really, anything else Stephen Merritt is involved with - as one of our most beloved bands.

Also, I remember reading a review somewhere that said this was the gay anthem that Duran Duran never had the courage to record, which is pretty much the most sterling recommendation possible for a synth-pop 80's-loving kid like me.
