Great Facebook Idea: Promoting multiple events at once

Promoting boring academic lectures : Effective use of Facebook :: Going to the dentist : An enjoyable and relaxing experience. (We need more analogies in our lives, don't you think? Viva la SAT!) We all have to do it, and we all know that it gets no engagement and is a drag on our precious EdgeRank scores. But hell hath no fury like a philosophy professor scorned, so promote lectures we must. Props to the University of Nebraska for figuring out that if you've got to do it, you may as well do it all at once.

Forever to be remembered as the day Todd Milke changed the hearts and minds of America.

Apparently I'm a complete idiot, because the way this post is formatted was novel to me. I like the spacing, and I like the use of the arrow (for the sake of specificity, it's technically greater than sign) to bring more attention to the different subjects and links.

This isn't one of those brilliant social media ideas and case studies that we all read about until we're blue in the face. This is simply a solid solution to handle required posts that share more in common with doing the laundry than fun, engaging, snazzy social media content.

But do the laundry we must. Thanks, Cornhuskers, for the tip.
