Great Social Media Idea: A Few of My Favorite Things

My week in doge form: Such busy. Very work. Much late nights. Wow no time. Wow.

So here is a super duper quick idea that I posted today on UP's Facebook and Instagram pages, courtesy of the fabulous Carlos Leon - who was interning with our office but is tragically heading back to Spain next week - and Slaine Kelly, my superstar student worker.

This is the first in a series of photos that will feature a student with some of their prized possessions. It's a fun little window into the lives of students and what's important to them, and it's also just a really neat art project that is really cool visually.

Family is very important to me, and since I am far away from home having a picture of them in my room reminds me of all the fun times we have together! The Wizard of Oz has been my favorite movie ever since I was 2 years old. Audrey Hepburn is someone I look up to, and I love her style! The running shoe represents my love for running and competing all throughout high school and college. My claddagh rings represents that I am Irish and was given to me from my dad when I was 10 years old, it's a tradition in our family! Of course, my phone, lipstick and headphones are essential. I also enjoy shopping very much and playing cards in my free time. But I guess my plate from Minnesota is always important to remember where I come from.

A neat little project, right? Right! Go Team UP!  :)
